September is National Preparedness Month. Are you prepared for an emergency?
Managed and sponsored by the Ready Campaign, National Preparedness Month is a time to focus our attention on the importance of preparing our families, homes, and communities for disasters that threaten our lives and property.
This is the first week of National Preparedness Month, and the first weekly theme is “Save Early for Disaster Costs.”
You never know when a disaster will happen. You can prepare by setting aside money for a rainy day fund. Visit Ready.gov to learn more about tracking your expenses and developing
a spending and saving plan.
