“The research, “Broadband Availability and Access in Rural Pennsylvania,” was conducted by Penn State University’s Palmer Chair in Telecommunications Sascha Meinrath and a team of researchers commissioned by the General Assembly’s Center for Rural Pennsylvania. “This groundbreaking research exposes the growing disparity in broadband availability between rural and urban areas in Pennsylvania,” said Dr. Michael A. Driscoll, president of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Center for Rural Pennsylvania’s board of directors.”
