It’s On Us, IUP, to Stop Sexual Assault. Take the Pledge in April and help IUP win the Pledge Challenge!

Join the movement across campus and take the It’s On Us IUP pledge to end sexual assault. The pledge competition runs from April 1 through April 30, and we are competing to be the top campus with the most It’s On Us pledges to make a change! Anyone can take the pledge, not just IUP faculty, staff, and students, so please encourage others to support IUP in this challenge as well.

Take the pledge at the IUP-specific It’s On Us Pledge website

The pledge centers around four parts:

  • To RECOGNIZE that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.
  • To IDENTIFY situations in which sexual assault may occur.
  • To INTERVENE in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.
  • To CREATE an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.

The pledge asks for name, email, phone number, zip code (15705), and alma mater (to be sure, just put Indiana University of Pennsylvania).  It's just that easy to help IUP win the competition and make our campus and community better for everyone.
