You and Me at IUP, Let’s Take Back the Night!

Norm at the gathering of students for Take Back the Night MarchTonight is our opportunity to show our support to victims and survivors of sexual violence by Taking Back the Night!

TODAY, April 10, is Take Back the Night! The march around campus kicks off at 8:00 p.m. from Putt-Delaney Courtyard and culminates in a Speak Out in the HUB Ohio Room, where victims can come forward and share their experiences in a safe public forum. 

Starting at 7:15 p.m. you can sign in and receive a free t-shirt (until the supply is exhausted).

It's On Us IUP wordmarkIt’s On Us IUP to end domestic violence and sexual assault, so we all need to be part of the solution.  Educating yourself and others, helping a friend who is being abused, speaking up about abuse, and acting as an engaged bystander are all examples of things we can do to help.

Help the Haven Project spread awareness about sexual violence and support survivors of violence by joining the 2019 Take Back the Night March and Speak Out.

The Haven Project provides counseling and support for students who experience sexual and relationship violence. The Haven Project also provides education on sexual and domestic violence, stalking, consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention.
