The Department for Disability Access and Advising wants to help you accommodate persons with disabilities who are attending your event.
If an interpreter or other accommodations are needed for your event, requests should be sent to the Department for Disability Access and Advising via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This request needs to include the club/organization, event/activity name, and its date, and the name of the requestor. We will then be in touch.
Please be aware that last-minute requests may be a problem, and some events may require specific preparation, an extended time frame, and specific interpreter background.
We STRONGLY advise that registrations for events include language about requesting accommodations, with a time frame.

at least 10 days before the date of the event. IUP will make every effort to accommodate all requests received.
Requests received outside the recommended timeline may be difficult to accommodate with preferred services and/or providers. Some services may require a minimum time frame to secure. If a requested accommodation cannot be made, IUP will work with you
to create an alternative accommodation, if possible.
