Guth, Bailey, Brown, and Wolfe Present at ACA National Conference

Lorraine Guth along with graduate students Hopeton Bailey, Courtney Brown, and Olivia Wolfe, Department of Counseling, conducted presentations at the American Counseling Association National Conference that was held in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Lorraine Guth along with graduate students Hopeton Bailey, Courtney Brown, and Olivia WolfeGuth and Wolfe (along with Dana Kirkpatrick and Megan Norris) delivered the presentation “Sexuality counseling 101: Sex therapy information and techniques for non-sex therapists.”

Guth and Bailey (along with Brittany Pollard, Ana Puig, Christian Chan, and Anneliese Singh) were part of the presentation “Ten ways to intentionally use group work to transform hate and enhance community building.”

Guth, Wolfe, and Brown (along with retired faculty member Laura Marshak) presented “Adapting wellness counseling strategies for people with intellectual disabilities.”

These presentations were well received and attended. ACA is the largest organization of counseling professionals in the country.
