The Employment and Labor Relations Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will change its degree name to Human Resources and Employment Relations.
The change was voted in effect of April 2, 2019, at the University Senate.
Two new courses will be added to the required course list, including Compensation Administration and an Organizational Behavior Seminar. Students currently in the Employment and Labor Relations program will have the option to transfer the degree name upon taking the additional two new required courses during summer 2019 sessions. This change will enhance the existing program by placing additional emphasis on human resources management practices, providing a well-rounded degree for students seeking opportunities in the fields of human resource management and employment and labor relations.
Students interest in the program can contact the program recruiter, Michael Korns, at email@example.com.
