University Museum Exhibit Offers Opportunity to Own Artwork

A painting from the University Museum’s permanent collectionFor the sixth consecutive year, the Indiana University of Pennsylvania University Museum will exhibit artworks from its permanent collection at the Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar in downtown Indiana, Pennsylvania.

For those who would like to build their art collections, this exhibit, titled “The University Museum Goes Downtown: From Our Walls to Your Home,” is a perfect opportunity to own a piece of the University Museum. The works can be viewed and purchased from April 10 to May 13. A public reception will be held on Friday, April 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with free admission.

The exhibit features prints, drawings, paintings, and photographs. The works represent an eclectic range of styles and motifs, including landscapes, abstracts, and figuratives. Coffee and locally made food are also available. The University Museum is pleased to partner with the Artists Hand again this year in an ongoing effort to bring art and cultural awareness to the region.  

The Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar is located at 732 Philadelphia Street in downtown Indiana, and is open Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; and Saturday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar is closed on Sundays.
