On Thursday, April 4, 2019, the Geoscience Department will host a ship-to-shore video call with Jonathan Warnock, who is aboard the JOIDES Resolution scientific drill ship off Antarctica.
Everyone is welcome from 5:30
to 6:30 p.m. in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building, room B10, where we will hopefully have a good connection and be able to get a short tour of the drilling and lab facilities from the onboard educator and then have a chance to hear specifically
what Professor Warnock is doing while at sea for 60 days on this scientific expedition.
For more information about his research expedition, you can read about it on the Geoscience department's Iceberg Alley Expedition page and follow along on the expedition Facebook page or Instagram with #IcebergAlley and #exp382.
Attendance vouchers will be available.
