During the week of February 25–28, AMA will host their
biggest event of the semester. The AMA
Executive Board has been working hard over the last five weeks organizing the second annual Marketing Week. They have been
researching and networking to bring in guest speakers to organize workshops that
will benefit all students in their young professional career.
The American Marketing Association’s Executive Board
encourages all majors to attend Marketing Week in order to gain valuable
insight from business professionals in all different disciplines. Students will be able
to use information from the following three workshops to help them in group mock
Patty Price, talent acquisition and
culture coordinator at WebFX, will host a digital marketing workshop at
Kelsey Thompson, assistant director at the IUP Career and Professional
Development Center, will host a LinkedIn workshop at 5:00 p.m.
Jill Thomas, talent acquisition manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car,
will host an Ace-the-Interview workshop at 5:00 p.m.
The group mock
interviews will be done by Sharon George, HR specialist at Sherwin-Williams Paints, at 6:00 p.m.
All workshops will take place in Eberly College, room 408.
