The Eberly College of Business Student Advisory Council (COBSAC) newly elected officers and representatives began a highly ambitious semester of activity.
Paramount among their spring semester goals are: 1) increasing their
involvement in the planning and production of the 41st annual Business
Day; 2) assessing ways to better serve Eberly College students, and: 3)
increasing collaboration between the COBSAC member organizations.
COBSAC is the coordinating council of the 12 recognized student organizations housed within the Eberly College academic departments. It is comprised of two representatives from each organization and five officers elected from within the body of representatives.
Emilie Dunn, a junior management and economics double major, serves as secretary/treasurer and a representative of the Future Entrepreneurs Club. “It is very exciting to be a member of the leadership team,” Emily said. “I observed COBSAC leaders in the past, and I now am honored to be one of them!”
Kelsey McCullough, a sophomore small business/entrepreneurship major, was elected to the new position of vice president for Events. “I look forward to organizing new and exciting events for the COBSAC organizations and members,” Kelsey said. She is a representative for the Student Finance Association and a community assistant for the Business Living Learning Community in Stephenson Hall.
Rounding out the new COBSAC leadership team are president Brandon Aguirre (senior, finance), executive vice president Jake Pascarella (junior, MIS), and vice president of Publicity William Turner (junior, MIS).
