Geoscience student Kayla Kroczynski ’19 presented her ongoing research on stormwater runoff at the 14th annual Regional Science Consortium Research Symposium on November 7,
2018. This symposium showcases the work of members of the Regional Science Consortium at Presque Isle.
The threeday symposium included talks and poster presentations on a wide range of subjects, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of science in the region.
Kayla’s presentation was in a session focused on runoff that included speakers from the US Geological Survey, the Erie County Health Department, and the National Weather Service. Her talk was titled “Researching Stormwater Runoff at the White Township
Recreation Complex in Indiana County, Pennsylvania.”
