Susan Sibert, associate professor and coordinator of the Principal Certification Program, was recently named to the Honor Roll of School Board Service, an award bestowed by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association.
Karen Devine, of PSBA, traveled from Harrisburg to the Cambria Heights School District to present the award. Sibert is currently serving the school board as vice president.
The award recognizes longevity of service and honors support of public education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Sibert was originally appointed to the board by Cambria County Judge Gerald Long (retired) and was subsequently elected to a four-year term, then re-elected three more times. She has also served in her role in various other capacities, including second vice president.
