Vanessa Torres, MPH, will give a presentation on her dissertation research on Monday, November 12, 2018, from 1:25 to 2:15 p.m. in room B-10 of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. Her talk, which is intended for students, will focus on her research on the topic of unhealthy alcohol use among Latino day laborers.
Torres is currently pursuing the Health
Behavior and Social Determinants of Health concentration in the PhD program in Health Services at the
University of Washington, Seattle.
