2018 Young Alumni Achievement Awards

On Monday, November 5, 2018, six alumni will return to campus and will be presented with the Young Alumni Achievement Award. The award winners will be on campus to speak with classes, participate in a reception, and receive their awards at a luncheon.

The Young Alumni Achievement awards program, facilitated by the Office of Alumni and Friends, honors alumni who have been identified as outstanding in their fields who serve as exceptional achievement to current students. 

This year’s award winners include:

Justin Brown M’13

Founder, CEO of the D.A.P. Diversity Awareness Program; founder and president of Onward & Upward

A graduate of the College of Education and Communications

Brandon Hody ’12 M’15

Safety and occupational health professional, Concurrent Technologies Corporation

A graduate of the College of Health and Human Services

Maria McCollester ’07

Associate political scientist, RAND Corporation

A graduate of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences

Chad Nease M’10

Senior data scientist, Caterpillar Inc.

A graduate of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics

Natalie Palamides ’12


A graduate of the College of Fine Arts
