The IUP Career and Professional
Development Center is hosting a night of networking with WorkPartners on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Humanities and Social Sciences lobby.
Part of UPMC’s global health
enterprise, WorkPartners provides health and productivity solutions to
high-performing companies throughout the United States. Formed in 1997,
WorkPartners has continued to expand services to help their clients
strategically manage the health and well-being of their employees.
This event is part of the Career and
Professional Development Center’s Career Ready Seminar Series, which was created to
provide targeted events to help IUP students gain and understand the necessary
skills and competencies to be successful in life after graduation.
Kelsey Thompson, assistant director
of the CPDC, helped to coordinate the event. “Networking is a vital career skill regardless of industry or field and
the more you practice, the more comfortable you become,” Thompson said. “We are very excited to have multiple representatives
from WorkPartners attend this event to engage with our students. We hope students come out to hear about the
opportunities they have within their organization and are looking forward to an
evening of great conversation.”
