Jialei Jiang (temporary faculty member and doctoral candidate in English Composition and Applied Linguistics) has been selected as one of six 2018–19 graduate fellows for the Sweetland Digital Rhetoric Collaborative (DRC), a "space for shared inquiry into the range of ideas, conversations, and activities that together constitute the work of digital rhetoricians and of the computers and writing community."

The DRC Graduate Fellows programs recognizes outstanding graduate students in the field of digital rhetoric by providing them with an opportunity to work in digital publishing projects for the DRC website and community. Fellows receive an annual stipend and recognition on the DRC website, and work on at least two initiatives during their term of service.

The Sweetland Digital Rhetoric Collaborative is supported by the Gayle Morris Sweetland Center for Writing, the University of Michigan Press, and Michigan Publishing of the University of Michigan Library.
