Homecoming 2018 Concert: Things to Know

Homecoming 2018 posterSTATIC presents Playboi Carti, Rich the Kid, and Waka Flocka Flame, live in concert, to kick-off IUP’s 2018 Homecoming celebrations on Thursday, October 4, in the Kovalchick Complex. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Both I-Card and public tickets are still available. I-Card tickets can be purchased in person at the KCAC Box Office and are $25 (plus a $2 KCAC facility fee). Tickets for the general public can be purchased in person at the KCAC Box Office or online and are $50 (plus all applicable fees).

To prepare for Thursday’s show, STATIC and the Kovalchick Complex want our ticket purchasers to know the following:

  • Arrive early. If you want to get into the arena by the time the show begins at 8:00 p.m., plan on arriving before 7:00 p.m. when the doors open.
  • Everyone will go through electronic screening. Please be prepared for processing, and bring as few personal items with you as possible.
  • There are two entrances into the arena: the doors facing Miller Stadium and the Field House, and the doors facing Wayne Avenue. Guests will be directed to form lines at both entrances.
  • Will call opens at 10:00 a.m., on the day of the show.
  • The following items are prohibited in the arena: food and beverages, alcohol and drugs, weapons, knives, selfie sticks, professional cameras, video cameras, lighters, bags, purses, and backpacks. No exceptions.
  • There is a no reentry policy at the building. No exceptions.
  • All floor tickets are standing room only.
  • All 100-Level tickets are general admission, and seats are available first-come, first-served. Please be sure to fill in all seats. Staff will ask you to move, as needed. Guests refusing to comply will be asked to leave the arena.
