Reminder: Mandatory Annual Online Training for Employees and University-Related Personnel

Posted on 9/25/2018 10:35:47 AM

Individual e-mails were sent during the last two weeks from Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education containing the access link to both required training modules—Protect Children and Preventing Harassment/Sexual Violence. We are pleased to report that almost half of the approximately 3,000 persons assigned the training have completed both courses—thank you!

Automatic reminders for those who have yet to complete were sent this week. Please note that a similar-looking e-mail from Millersville University was inadvertently sent to non-completers due to a vendor error. These can be ignored and deleted.

Reminders

  • Due date for completion of both trainings is 30 days from the date the PASSHE e-mail is received. Though this is not stated in the body of the e-mail, it is visible once the training link is opened.
  • E-mails/links can NOT be shared. Completion is recorded in SAP automatically for the individual receiving the e-mail.
  • Student workers must also meet the training requirement. Supervisors should assist in this expectation.

Further information can be found on the Mandatory Training website or by contacting Karen Mathe in the Office of Social Equity at social-equity@iup.edu. Questions about IUP’s Title IX policy and protocol should be directed to Elise Glenn at title-ix@iup.edu.
