Staying Relevant in the Changing World of Higher Education: Holistic Teaching and Mentoring

Faculty and teaching assistants/associates are invited to attend this Reflective Practice Large Group meeting on Wednesday, September 12, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in Ackerman 116.

Does it feel like every year you need to do more to help your students succeed in class and in life? This can be exhilarating, as well as overwhelming, and sometimes even frustrating. Join the CTE and faculty from diverse colleges to find out more about innovative strategies to stay relevant in today’s changing world of higher education through holistic teaching and mentoring.

Panelists will include Dan Burkett (mathematical and computer sciences); Sally McCombie (dean’s associate for Academic Affairs, College of Health and Human Services); and Janet Blood (fashion merchandising)
