Three alumni have joined the IUP Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Debra Evans-Smith ’81, Joe Kopko ’03, M’12, and Leslie
Miller Purser ’80 will attend their first board meeting October 5, 2018, during
Homecoming weekend.
Evans-Smith, of Woodbridge, Virginia, is a graduate of IUP’s
Criminology program and is a special advisor in the Human Resources Branch of
the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Kopko, of Pittsburgh, earned both his bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in safety sciences at IUP and is an executive vice president
for HUB International.
Purser, who obtained a degree in art at IUP, recently
retired after 37 years of Army service at the rank of major general. She
resides in Dandridge, Tennessee.
