IUP’s Timothy Paul and the Department of Music are hosting the fifth annual International Fellowship of Conductors, Composers, and Collaborators (IFC3) this week (June 11–15, 2018) at IUP.
The workshop features rehearsals and recording (a professional CD is the final product of the workshop), as well as lectures and concerts; the latter events are open to the public. Paul is the founder and coordinator of this festival, which draws musicians and artists from all over the United States.
On Thursday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. in Gorell, Paul will present a lecture titled “The Bond of Intention, Movement, and Reflection.”
That evening, members of the IFC3 workshop will present a 7:30 p.m. concert (also in Gorell) of chamber music.
On Friday, June 15, the final performance of the workshop will occur at noon in Gorell.
