Christina Ruby (Biology) will lead a discussion of the ability of caffeine and alcohol to alter our circadian rhythm and performance.

Caffeine and alcohol are the two most commonly consumed psychoactive substances in the world, and both have profound ability to alter our physiology, mental agility, and performance. Please join us for our journal club, in which Ruby will present some recent experimental work by her laboratory on the ways in which these very familiar substances influence our functioning.

  • Friday, April 13
