Student employees who are continuing employment with you through the summer must complete a new Profile/Job Assignment Sheet and hand deliver it to Payroll Services, G-11, Sutton Hall. We encourage you to submit profile sheets as soon as possible to prevent
the student from being separated from payroll. All
Profile Sheets must be typed and hand-delivered by the student employee
to Payroll Services.
All new student employees being added to payroll must complete their Background Clearances through the Hire-A-Hawk process. Student workers will not be permitted to begin work until all three background clearances are in process. The Approved Background Clearance e-mail from Human Resources is required to be submitted to Payroll with all completed new-hire paperwork. No students will be paid for any hours worked prior to the
date on the Approved Background Clearances e-mail from Human Resources.
For any students being rehired, please have them go to MyIUP. Click on Personal Information, then click on the Background Clearance Progress link and review that their Background Clearances have been completed.
Student employees completing a Federal Student Employment/Profile Job Assignment Sheet must have a Federal Work Study award posted for the summer, prior to submitting their Profile/Job Assignment Sheet to Payroll Services. Students must complete
a Summer 2018 Federal Work Study Application, which was e-mailed to students from the Financial Aid Office. The student must submit the completed Summer 2018 Federal Work Study Application to the Financial Aid Office and allow two to three weeks processing
time from the date of submission. Any questions regarding the application can be directed to the Financial Aid Office.
