The bi-annual Student Survey of Community Attitudes about
Sexual Violence (“Be Heard”) continues to be available
until April 18. Another e-mail containing the link to the survey will be sent to all students on April 12. More prizes are available!
The survey is anonymous and takes about 20 minutes to
complete. Participating students may enter to win a variety of prizes, which
will be awarded through a weekly drawing.
Participation in this survey will help IUP provide better
support for people who have experienced inappropriate sexual behaviors, develop
policies and prevention tools to reduce the frequency of sexual violence in the
campus community, and gauge the campus climate regarding overall sexual
misconduct among students. Faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to
promote this important initiative with their students.
