University Family Drive: The Students Who Benefit

Deans Merit Scholarship students

Middle-Level Education. English. Sport Administration. Finance. Theater. Geology. The students pictured here are mastering skills in these disciplines, so they can go on to change the world after they graduate. They have something else in common, too: They all have been recognized for their potential and hard work through the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.

As a member of the university family, you make this possible. You share your knowledge and expertise with students, making them better versions of themselves. When you also lend your financial support, you give them resources—allowing them to devote the necessary time to their studies and to become immersed in the IUP community. With your support, they will graduate well-prepared and well-rounded.

The impact of your philanthropy is far reaching. Your gifts humble and motivate students. When they are awarded scholarships, they push themselves harder to excel. And, your participation helps IUP send a message—to its alumni, to corporations and foundations, and to those in Harrisburg—that it is a strong, vibrant institution worthy of their investment.

Participating in the University Family Drive is easy, and there are many incentives at both the university and college level. You can download a pledge form or pledge your support electronically using the University Family Drive website. If you have questions about how to give to a specific fund or program area, access the Find a Fund tool or contact the Office of Annual Giving at or 724-357-5555.

Operated by the Office of Annual Giving, the University Family Drive runs through April 20. All those who give will be invited to a victory reception hosted by President Michael Driscoll on April 26.
