The IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology held the first round of ACG Cup competition on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
The ACG cup is a case study-based competition that provides real world experience to students from leading MBA programs across the country. Additionally, this competition provides invaluable knowledge to the students in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, capital markets, and M&A advice. The students who participate in the ACG cup make their presentations to experienced M&A professionals from the ACG community.
The competition is carried out through a series of intra-school and regional competitions, with regional winners awarded the prestigious ACG Cup title and cash awards.
In the intra-college competition at Eberly college, two students, Austin Lamont and Corey Roach, won the first round of the competition. In the second round, both Lamont and Roach will compete against students from Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh, Penn State, University of West Virginia, and Duquesne University.
Last year, Joshua Restauri from the Eberly College of Business won the ACG Cup.
