Caleb Moore, a 2007 graduate of IUP with degrees in finance and economics and vice president of Credit Systems at First Commonwealth Bank, will speak at the Economics Club Alumni Speaker Series on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in McElhaney Hall, room 206.
At First Commonwealth Bank, Moore has overseen an awesome team of five highly skilled individuals (three analysts and two administrators) since 2010. This team calculates the largest estimate in the bank (ALLL: Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses), creates financial/forecasting models, creates advanced reports, leads various projects across the company, automates, and solves various quandaries. In short, they are a tight-knit problem solving group.
Currently, Caleb is president of the Indiana County YMCA Board, where he has served in various capacities over the last four years. He also serves on his local church’s board. At present, he is pursuing an Executive MBA from IUP (Pittsburgh East).
Past jobs include S&T Bank (credit analyst, business analyst, and credit risk analyst), Mellon/BNY Mellon (derivatives operations specialist), and TNS (market research). This has all been possible with the support of his wife and children over the past (nearly) 14 years.
Please welcome Caleb as he discusses how getting a well-rounded education at IUP can help students adapt to the professional working world!
