Nicole Shirley Bukosky ’08, M’12 has been named assistant director of Alumni and Constituent Relations.
In her new
role, Bukosky will be responsible for creating new programs that focus on young alumni and student engagement initiatives and strengthen existing programs that promote student engagement with alumni.
The role includes serving as advisor to the IUP Ambassadors, which is the student alumni association, and partnering with the Admissions Office and the Career and Professional Development Center and all of IUP’s academic areas to further shape integrated
alumni and student programming.
As an undergraduate student, Bukosky herself was a member of the IUP Ambassadors and served as vice president for administration in 2006 and as president in 2007.
After earning her master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education, she worked at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown as an academic and career counselor, supporting the Academic Success Center and programs for the Real World Career Services.
