As an IUP student, you already pay a Student Activity Fee. Do you want to have a say in how those fees are used? Do you want to be a decision maker on campus? If so, then run for the Student Co-op Board of Directors.
The Student Co-op Association is governed by its board of directors and includes individuals from across the university, predominantly undergraduate students just like you. The board of directors sets policy for the Student Co-op and decides how best to use the Student Activity Fee to serve our campus community. The board of directors meets once per month, and students also have the opportunity to serve on one of its many committees (Finance, Operations, Store, and more).
Running for the board of directors is easy. Download a petition, or pick up a paper copy at any of the following locations: HUB Front Desk, HUB Fitness Center Information Desk, Co-op Store Customer Service Desk, or HUB Commuter Lounge. Fill out your candidacy information on page 1, and then have 25 of your supporters sign the petition on page 2. Then, submit your petition to Zach Clark in the HUB Business Office before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, either electronically or in person.
If submitting a petition electronically, the candidate must scan the original petition, save the file as a PDF document, and send the file as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org from his or her IUP e-mail account. Late petitions will not be considered.

Elections will run from Monday, February 19, to Friday, March 2, 2018. Ballots will be sent to each undergraduate student e-mail via Qualtrics, IUP’s official online survey tool. Undergraduate students can cast ballots at any point from February 19 through March 2, at 4:00 p.m. Encourage your friends, peers, and classmates to vote!
