The School of Graduate Studies and Research is excited to announce an event in conjunction with the annual Research Week events: Three Minute Thesis (3MT).

In this competition, graduate students have exactly three minutes to present their original scholarship with the aid of one static PowerPoint slide (no animation, no audio, no video).

A preliminary competition will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in the Allegheny room of the HUB. The top scoring participants from the preliminary competition will advance to the final round being held after the Graduate Scholars Forum on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the final round and the peer choice winner.

Graduate students interested in participating in this event can submit a proposal via our InfoReady review system. Questions about the competition can be direct to Carley Smathers at
