IUP graduate assistant for Women’s and Gender Studies, announce two $500 scholarship opportunities offered by the Indiana County Branch of the American Association of University Women, co-sponsored by IUP’s Women’s and Gender Studies program.
Eligible to apply are all IUP undergraduate females who are planning to fulfill the course requirements for a Women’s and Gender Studies minor, or any IUP undergraduate or graduate female “nontraditional” student. For the purposes of this scholarship,
AAUW-IC defines nontraditional student as a student whose academic progress has been challenged or delayed because of family or dependents, or through economic or other extenuating circumstances.
Undergraduate applicants must have earned at least 30 IUP undergraduate credits; graduate student applicants must have earned at least six IUP graduate credits. Beginning on February 1, applications will be
accepted online. Deadline to apply is March 9, 2018.
