The Office of Extended Studies is offering a noncredit course, Pottery and Ceramics, beginning Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Pottery and CeramicsPottery and Ceramics is open to beginning through advanced level students and will explore wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery. Using mid-fire materials and techniques, students will have the opportunity to make utilitarian and non-utilitarian ceramic objects.

Supply List:

  • Water bucket (two quart or bigger)
  • Towel
  • Basic throwing tools (sets available at IUP Co-Op Store or online)
  • Premixed clay can be purchased through the IUP Co-Op Store

Ten Tuesdays: February 20, 27; March 6, 13, 20, 27; April 3, 10, 17, 24

Instructor:

Paige Love received her Master of Arts in Ceramic Art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and is currently an independent artist living in Indiana, Pa.
