Recently, Erick
Lauber (Journalism and Pubic Relations) conducted two leadership communication workshops. One
was for the IUP Financial Aid Office, titled “How to be Heard in an
Environment Meant to Keep You Quiet”. The second was titled “Effective
Leadership Communication” for the Executive Leader Series put on by the Center
for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement.
Participants learned about
different communication styles, how to be assertive and effective in the
workplace, and personal tendencies and strengths.
Lauber
