Ring in the Holiday with “Sing in the Holiday”

Join several local choirs from Indiana on Friday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium, IUP Performing Arts Center, to “Sing in the Holiday.” IUP choirs participating in this event include University Chorale, Chamber Singers, Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, and University Choir. Local choirs include Indiana High School A Capella Choir and the Crimson Youth Chorus.

This concert will feature moving new music for the holidays, as well as favorite carols like “The Holly and the Ivy” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.” The program closes with a huge sing-along arranged for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra with all your holiday favorites like “Deck the Hall,” “Frosty,” “Jingle Bells,” and much more. If that wasn’t enough, a full complement of brass, woodwind, and percussion players will join in the festivities. You will be sure to leave this concert joyful and with a full heart after joining in with the more than 200 musicians this program features.Sing in the Holidays

Tickets for the performance are available for purchase online through the Lively Arts website or by calling the ticket hotline at 724-357-1313. They can also be purchased at the new Performing Arts Center Ticket Office in Fisher Auditorium. Any seats remaining will be sold at the door starting one hour prior to the performance.

Tickets are priced at $11 for regular admission, $9 for seniors, and $7 for active I-Card users and children. Online tickets are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ticket hotline and ticket office in Fisher Auditorium are open from noon to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. The ticket office is closed for university holidays.
