Psychology’s Berman and Doctoral Student Present at International Summit on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma

Pearl Berman, chairperson of the Department of Psychology, copresented as part of a panel titled "University student experiences with victimization and perpetration of violence: Exploring the impact of childhood experiences, emotions and identity groups" at the 22nd International Summit on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma in San Diego California. Her copresenter was Sofia Alvarez MA, a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (PsyD).

Berman was also a member of the Linda Saltzman Memorial Panel: Interpersonal Violence in Various Settings.

These presentations are a part of Berman's work in promoting investigation and treatment of victimization.
