On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, the Northern Suites
Community Assistant staff, in conjunction with the American Chemical Society,
Alpha Chi Sigma, and professor Justin Fair held the program “Ice Cream
Under the Stars” for the residents of Northern Suites.
Vanilla, chocolate, and sherbet ice cream was
melted into liquid form and from there the liquid nitrogen was used to freeze
the liquid ice cream and turn it into “Dip and Dots.” During the course of the
program 165 residents of Northern Suites were served ice cream. “Ice Cream Under the Stars” served as the
Living Learning kick-off for the 2017-2018 academic year.
