compliance with federal and state laws, all employees and university-related
personnel must complete annual Title IX and Protection of Minors training. Individual
e-mails have been sent during the last two weeks from Pennsylvania’s State
System of Higher Education, which contain access to both required training
modules. We are pleased to report that almost half of the over 2,000
persons assigned the training have completed both courses—thank you!
Please note that newly hired/re-hired employees,
including student workers, will not receive their Pennsylvania State System e-mail until all
payroll paperwork has been processed. All other employees and university-related personnel (i.e., affiliates,
contractors, units, and centers) should have received their e-mails. If you have not, or if you are
experiencing difficulty accessing your trainings, please contact Karen Mathe in
the Office of Social Equity at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Further information can be found within the training FAQ and on the Mandatory
Title IX and Protection of Minors Training webpage. IUP’s Title IX policy and support documents,
including the 2017–18 Where to Turn for Help/Title IX brochure, can be
found on the Title IX Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Resources webpage.
