The doctor of education in Administration and Leadership
Studies in the Department of Professional Studies in Education has
received national recognition for meeting the highest standards from the
Educational Leadership Constituent Council, their professional
association. This recognition affirms formally the program’s meeting of the
rigorous standards set forth by their specialized professional organization.
The Administration and Leadership Studies program, under the
coordination of DeAnna Laverick and Robert Millward, should be thanked
along with the faculty and students of the program, for without them this honor
would not be possible.
We are proud of the accomplishments achieved by the ALS
program and recognize that accreditation from our specialized associations
helps us to better prepare our candidates to meet the growing needs in the
field of education. This recognition is a quality assurance that demonstrates
our willingness to meet the standards set by the organization representing the
academic community. This acknowledgement gives the ALS program the seal of
approval that assures quality in educator preparation.
