As a member of a “people-to-people” small-group educational tour, Miller traveled between Havana and Cienfuegos and also visited Trinidad and Santa Clara. Through the people-to-people experience, Miller interacted with the Cuban people and observed the changing landscape and political environment in the island country.

Miller’s observations and photos are published in the article Postcard from Cuba: People connect, governments disconnect in the HawkEye.
