Eight students represented Indiana University of Pennsylvania at the Undergraduate Research at the Capitol–Pennsylvania event on April 25, 2017, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The IUP students presented their award-winning projects from the 2016
IUP Undergraduate Scholars Forum.
The Undergraduate
Research at the Capitol–Pennsylvania is a poster conference that showcases the high level of scholarship by the most talented undergraduate students in the commonwealth. The event provides an opportunity to bring together students, faculty, and legislators
to share the experiences of students engaged in scholarship.
The IUP students discussed their research with members of the General Assembly of the House of Representatives in the East Wing Rotunda of the Capitol Building and were formally recognized on the floor of the Senate later in the day.
