Two individuals affiliated with Eberly College of Business and Information Technology’s outreach efforts were recently honored at the 25th anniversary celebration of PowerLink.
Ellen Ruddock, director, Center for Family Business, was honored as a founding director, PowerLink Governing Board, and longest tenure on the board of directors. She successfully led the board to more than $1 million in foundation funding to help PowerLink build its processes, attract more than 800 volunteer advisors, and serve PowerLink companies.
Tony Palamone, director, Small Business Development Center, was recognized for his assistance in helping the organization expand its reach beyond its traditional base.
PowerLink is a nonprofit organization that works with businesses that have begun and grown sales to several hundred thousand dollars. PowerLink seeks to help businesses grow to the next level and to increase their sales to a million dollars and beyond through the provision of advisory boards of directors.
