Reunion Year Scholarship Challenge Has Begun

Posted on 4/1/2008 1:49:09 PM

The Reunion Year Scholarship was established in 2003 to honor the past by securing the futures of outstanding, deserving IUP students. Since its inception, alumni have contributed over $43,000 to this scholarship. Countless others have chosen to give by volunteering their time on campus.

To all alumni, IUP students say, “Thank you!”

By contributing to this year’s scholarship efforts, you will continue the tradition of support to IUP students and help to pass on a legacy that will remain for years to come.

This year’s challenge, posed to the Pioneers, the Class of 1958, and the Class of 1963 music alumni, is to contribute more than any other group of reunion classes has before—for a combined effort totaling more than $15,000. Every gift, no matter the size, brings you closer to that goal and closer to helping additional students reach their dreams. Your gifts also help to increase the alumni participation rate at IUP—an important figure considered in national rankings, making every IUP alumni’s degree more valuable. This year’s total will be announced at the Alumni Reunion Weekend Saturday evening Reunion Gala.
