Narcan Training with Informational Presentation

Join Erick Lauber, PhD, applied psychologist and journalism faculty at IUP, for an interactive demonstration explaining the results of repeated drug use, both neurobiologically and psychologically. He will also discuss both the causes of substance abuse (risk factors), some principles of prevention, and thoughts on community-wide solutions.

Tina Hooker, RN, from the Open Door, will follow with a Narcan training. All participants will receive a free Narcan kit—the medication that reverses opioid overdose.
