Wallwork Living Learning Communities hosted “Allah America: Islam and Muslims in the United States” event on Thursday, April 6, 2017, in G98 Wallwork.

Michelle Sandhoff, assistant professor of Sociology, facilitated an interesting and interactive discussion with 28 students on how American culture has been shaped by Muslim influences. Students also learned about the history of Muslims in the U.S. and how Islam is practiced here. The students really enjoyed the conversations with Sandhoff during and after the event.
