The course will cover basic and intermediate fiction-writing techniques, including characterization, plot design, and voice. Students will participate in in-class writing exercises and discussions, and participants will get the opportunity to use their own original work.

Brandon Boudreaux has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts program with a concentration in fiction. Boudreaux has been teaching international students at IUP with the American Language Institute for three years in addition to being a tutor with the biology department and an editor with the education department. BlazeVox, Sanitatium Magazine, and the Coe Review have published his fiction.
