The School of Graduate Studies and Research is excited to announce an event in conjunction with the annual Research Week events: Three Minute Thesis (3MT).

In this competition, graduate students have exactly three minutes to present their original scholarship with the aid of one static PowerPoint slide (no animation, no audio, no video).

A preliminary competition will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in the Susquehanna room of the HUB. The top scoring participants from the preliminary competition will advance to the final round being held after the Graduate Scholars Forum on Wednesday, April 5. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the final round. Prizes will also be awarded to the runner-up and the peer choice winner.

If you would like to participate in this event, please e-mail Jennifer Hedden at by Friday, February 24, 2017. Please provide her with your name, the graduate program in which you are currently enrolled, and the title of your presentation.
