Students who have some college credits, but not enough or the wrong combination for a degree, have a new option at IUP. Revisions to the Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies, recently approved by Senate, will make it easier than ever to use college credits toward a degree starting in spring 2017.

Designed for busy adult learners who have some college credits, this degree can be completed 100 percent online or in the classroom. Up to 30 transfer credits can be accepted from previous academic work. Students will take liberal studies courses plus a concentration in a specific subject area of their choosing.
