With a commitment to process-driven
experimentation, Daloy aims to evolve the theory and process of dance
The company’s work employs dance,
theater, improvisation, and movement meditation to cultivate new perspectives
and push the possibilities in contemporary dance.
The dancers of Daloy use their
uniformly strong technique and obvious discipline to produce works that both
question and celebrate society.
Performing Canton and Himalaya,
together the works explore traditional and modern-day Filipino
culture, the works are described as “breathtaking, provocative, and daring.”
The group will be arriving a few days
early offering a variety of outreach activities to area schools, organizations,
and dance programs. The residency, funded in part by the McKinney Charitable
Foundation provided through the PNC Charitable Trusts, is working to connect
