“Wag the Dog” Showing October 5

The Center for Film Studies new Student Film Series continues Wednesday, October 5, with a showing of Wag the Dog, the 1997 black comedy starring Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman plays a president caught in a nasty scandal two weeks before election. DeNiro is the spin doctor who tries to save him through creating a diversionary war with Albania.

Sound relevant? Come and decide, or come and just have fun.

Journalism students will present the film and let you know a little about their major as well.

It starts at 5:00 in HSS 225. It’s free. And, of course, attendance vouchers will be provided.
